Banga, banga-banga list, 'easy' Dutch are listed

News has come that there are lists circulating on the internet about the Dutch girls. The Banga list or banga-banga list contains names of girls that are easy. It is known fact that if a girl is easy it is a matter of time and all boys in their neighbourhood know. It was like that even in the old days.

Now with internet it is however a whole other cup a tea. It is forbidden by law to slander ones name and state someone is easy to get in bed. This is no joke. A girl commited suicide when she found out she was listed on a banga list.

Please guys do not use such lists, would you like it if the girls would keep lists of 'the smallest in town', or 'the fastest in town' and put it on the net? I would guess not.

Just made a whole lot of money with my deal

I bought a bunch of pooh clocks a week ago. 20 pieces in a box packed for 10 euro for the box. Today I finalized my last sale and sold them all for a total of 100 euro. That is 90 euro profit. No sending, they all picked them up. Is that great or what? It is just a beginning but everything must begin somewhere. So how about it are you thinking about it yet?

There has been send footage of the shooting in Toulouse to several media. The French gouvernment call upon you to not use this in your news, broadcasts,paper, website. Probably it is horrific to see people being shot at so please refrain from using this.

Free shopping on Dutch political site

Yesterday a technician found out that people have been shopping for free on a political webshop. This was possible due to a flaw in the software. It was possible to add a negative number of articles in the basket which deducted an amount of money from the total. This error made it possible for people to buy stuff deduct money from their total amount and shop for free.

flea market - a great way to save some money!

Today I went to a flea market to look for some 'new'stuff.  A flea market is a great way to save some dimes. Do you need a closet, look for one in a flea market. Just paint it in the colour you like and you have a closet for a fraction of the price you would have spend in a store. Flea markets are great to look for toys, books and art. Today I bought 10 books, 4 games and a remote controlled car for about 7 dollars. Now is that a great deal or what?!

Tsunami warning after earthquake Mexico

Due to the eartquake in Guerrero, Mexico there has been a warning for Tsunami's. It will probably not be a big tsunami since the epic centre was in the middle of Mexico not at the coastline but there is a chance there are some big waves the following hours/days.

The earthquake has killed 3 people and caused several wounded. The precise numbers will be apparant in the next couple of hours/days. Numerous buildings are damaged.

Experts have been predicting this year Mexico will be hit by an extreme earthquake according to their geometrical research.

The people of Mexico City rushed into the streets after feeling the rumbling of the earth. Even in Acapulco people and tourist were experiencing some trembling.

My first question to you , my readers is; Do you have facebook? I think for most the answer would be yes.

Here is my advise, join some competitions. There are numerous of competitions on facebook with a chance to win fabulous prizes. I do have entered some. Some would require you to come up with a slogan or just to do a game. There is a chance you win.

How I know? I just won two prizes by entering a facebook based competition. One involved clicking on a link at a certain time and I won glasses. The other one just was a lucky shot and I won:

It is chocolate milk some cups and whipped cream and I can tell you it tasted that much better, knowing it was free!

This was just a freindly advise, in the right menu you will see lots of ads on facebook and there are usually some competitions mentioned, I would say; Give it a try! And you also have the chance to be a winner every day!

Spring, don't you love it?

Spring is here and we love it. The sun is shining it is nice outside. People are more happy. It shows we get our vitamins from the sun and well some were clearly lacking them.

I love the sun and nice weather, so I am enjoying it! So far for now, heading outside!

Solution: AMD ATI Display driver not responding and recovered, black screen - Solved

This is a common error on windows 7 computers using a AMD Athlon Display driver. I looked for a resolution for this problem myself and well got lost in all the well meant resolutions, tried them but did not get a resolution.

Now I fixed it and want to share this to resolve your problem with it too.

Problem; pc not responding, screen 'resets' (goes black for a second) and then the message appears "AMD driver was not responding" (dutch: AMD driver reageerde niet meer en is hersteld)

This problem was fixed by doing the following;
 Open the ATI configuration, graphics configuration (ATI icon in task bar)
Select graphics in the upper menu, then powerplay.
De-select powerplay (so it is off).

That is it, no more freezes no more black screens!

Financial crisis coming to an end

My opinion on this subject is clear to all my friends. In my opinion the press has a large influence on the development of financial difficulties in a country. I will explain.

When news, media, newspaper all print major headlines like "our country in financial trouble" or "Low point for our economy since 100 years", people get afraid. The consequenses of such headlines are people stop spending. They are frightened about what is coming, will they lose their job? They are keeping their money, not going shopping, saving up as much as they can. The consequense of such behaviour is, shops make less profit, people DO get fired.

Those headlines make a financial crisis. Off course not completely but it surely does not help.

Recently media and financial department here finally are announcing that we are going up again! Hooray! People do not worry! The crisis is coming to an end. Spend your money! Make the businesses flourish again and do what you can to stimulate your country's economy!

Friday, Belgium in mourning

Today a minute of silence has been taken to think about the victims of the accident in Switserland. All over the Dutch tv there were live broadcasts. There were some Dutch children involved in the accident but even if there were not, we sympatise with our neighbours. Today we think about those who lost their lives and those enjured during the horrific accident in a Swiss tunnel.

The bodies of the deceased people involved in the accident in Sweden will probably be transferred today. The accident in Switserland has cost the life of 22 children and 6 adults. It is a great loss and Belgium probably has a day of mourning this friday.

Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the victims.

Google adjusting search engine?!

It is said that Google is going to adjust the way their search engine works. When you search in the current version the engine gives you websites where you could find your answer. In the future you get answers directly from Google AND you get website with the information you requested. This is a great development saving you lots of time searching for what you are looking for. For example if you would search for the capital of The Netherlands it would give you the answer "Amsterdam" and give you websites containing information about the answer. I think this is great.

Als they have developed the search engine in such a manner that it would recognise the different meaning of search words. For example a search on "Expensive Jaguar" would give you results on the car, not the animal. This also would save people lots of time going through search results!

To learn dutch well, there is a lot needed. So I thought I would start with giving you guys a sentence a week to get to know the basics. How about that? Like the idea?

Attaque on Mosque in Brussels

Apparantly a suspect has been arrested. People involved in the mosque tell the press the Imam died trying to put out the flames. It is not clear yet how many people are hurt and/or died because of the attaque.

Assault Belgian Mosque Brussels

This evening at approximately 19.00 (7pm) an assault has taken place on a Belgian mosque in Brussels.This was done by the trow of a molotov cocktail which caused a big fire, due to the quick reaction of the local fire department, only the first floor got damaged. Although the fire was quickly under control, firemen found a corpse on the second floor, they assume he died from oxygen deficiency or smoke inhalation.

Halfvasten Stoet Maasmechelen 2012

Yesterday we went to Maasmechelen a town in Belgium. Since we are in the south of the Netherlands it is a 1 hour drive. There was a "halfvasten stoet". An international parade like carnaval.

It was a spectacular parade. The cars were very well put together and a sight for the eye! The kids were through the roof, they all went home with shoppingbags full of candy, toys, popcorn,pens.. If you are ever in the neighbourhood you should see this! It always takes places approximately two weeks before easter and it costs about 3 euro but it is well worth it!



Facebook keeps having ups and downs-error saving

This is just my personal point of view.

The last days facebook keeps having trouble. There are many times, you would like to give a "Like" or reaction and Facebook keeps giving an error. "Facebook is having trouble to save the requested information". Maybe they are having serverproblems? They have not explained the mayor fallout on 7th march so well... We are just guessing but it seems Facebook is not yet in its old state yet!

How to save money on your tv package

Subscription

There usually is a fee required to gain admittance to the standard package. You can save money by looking closely at your current fee and the package you have. Usually providers have package deals. Change provider

You would simply be robbing yourself if you just keep using the same provider for years.  It takes a little work but if you keep your eyes focused on good deals and keep comparing prices you will be rewarded. Take advantage of offers and keep focusing on your own needs. When you do you will be saving money on your cable every single month.

Facebook gets 8 Billion loan

5 american banks have signed up to give the social network site Facebook a 8 billion dollar loan. This money has several purposes amongst these purposes is the entry to the stockmarket. Facebook is trying to get at least 5 billion from stocksales but insiders and investors are thinking more in the lines of 10 billion dollar in sales.

The total worth of the site is estimated to be 100 billion dollar!

Just making me wonder, should I start a website? The idea of this website surely brought Mark Zuckerberg more than he probably ever dreamt of!

Olsen twins stop acting

The Olsen twins have announced to stop acting. The twins first got known for their appearance on the hit show Full House. The show about the family Tanner that lost their mum and were raised by their father and two uncles. After the show the Olsen twins have appeared in some movies but were in the spotlights for numerous of gossip items such as the rumour of being anorexic.

The twins now have decided to stop acting and focus on their real passion: Fashion.

Facebook up again but not consequent

Facebook has been up again for almost an hour now. I have noticed it has been down from at least 6 am until approximately 9 am. It is not common for such a big media site to completely go down. They have the funds and knowledge to have numerous backup servers in case something goes wrong.

Until now Facebook has not made any statements about the cause of the downtime. I bet there were a lot of frustrated people around the world not able to check their daily 'news'. Not to mention the advertising income Facebook lost today.

The site is up but I sense some glitches and now and then it is not connecting properly. Hoping they will fix it soon!

Facebook has been down for over an hour now. Wonder if it is a local problem or worldwide? How about all those daily users? cold turkey...hmmm...

The yaya sisterhood of do it yourself in your home!

Today I helped my sister with her new home. Since our parents died a while back, we are more depending on eachother. This becomes very clear when it is time to do some renovations in your home. Normally we would ask our father to help or do it for us but since he is not here anymore we just do it ourselves.. Wait, don't laugh! We are pretty good at it. We just placed a floor in her home, no problem! Underflooring and the wooden boards, piece of cake.

I would say I am better at many jobs such as this as any man. This is because my father always showed us how to do stuff and we are well a little stubborn and we will try anything ourselves before asking someone else (a man) to do it for us ;)

This al resulted in two very clever girls that can handle any job in our home, Tim the toolman Taylor would be very proud of us as well as our dad off course!

Vladimir Poetin re-elected.

This evening president Poetin announced he was elected for president.To make sure things were done fair, several offices had hung webcams. Still there are opponents that say things were not fairly done and try to question the results of the elections.

Vacation Booked! Italy here we come..

Yes, I finally found my vacation and well... Nothing new this year. I am going to Piètra Ligure, a place in Italy in the Flowerrivièra. It is not a big town but well I like it a lot. In the neighbourhood are lots of things to do and big cities are all around. Nothing planned yet but it will get shape in the next months. May is when I go so I still have some time..

Prince Friso seems to be transferred to London

News got out that prince Friso was transferred today. This was confirmed by the airport. He was in a plane leaving for London at 14.00. It is best for coma patients to be in a familiar environment. Since the prince lived in London with his kids for the last years, he is said to be on his way to a specialized clinic in London.
